Description
Carpet cleaning is done by expert methods to remove stains, dirt residue and allergens from carpets. The methods most commonly used to clean carpets are hot water extraction, dry cleaning and vacuuming. The carpets are first treated with special chemicals and then scrubbed using a rotary machine.
The Swiss Laundry has an expert team that treats each carpet individually based on their type and colour. Our team cleans, vacuums and drys the carpet. The Carpets are air dried after the cleaning process for upto 24 hours for best results. After they have lost all moisture, our team once again vacuums the carpet for the final bit of removal of dirt.
It is recommended that carpets are cleaned minimum 4 times a year to make sure they last longer. Giving them proper treatment not just increases their life but also reduces the chance of getting sick due to bacteria stuck in them over time.
Types of Carpet Cleaning Services
There are various types of carpet cleaning services like Hot water extraction, dry compound cleaning, bonnet cleaning, shampoo cleaning, dry foam cleaning and vacuuming. The Swiss Laundry offer two types of carpet cleaning service option:
A. Vacuum Carpet Cleaning
Vacuum carpet cleaning means to use a wash head that sprays water without detergent and immediately removes it by suction. This creates a swirl of water. By doing this we try to get best cleaning results, high cleaning performance, and removal of dirt from the carpet which can be at a depth of half an inch.

B. Carpet Shampooing
Carpets are treated with eco-friendly chemicals that create a form at the places where rotary machines are used. This helps remove stains and helps restore some of the brightness the carpet might have lost due to use over years.

The perfect crisp and lasting finishing is given to the garments through steam ironing.

Quality Check
A final check of the finished garment is carried out by the laundry manager before final packaging of the garments.
